Interior Blank is a full-service, residential interior design studio for customised new builds, home renovations and extensions.
The Interior Blank interior design framework is unique. It is client-focused, yet well guided. However clear or yet-to-be formed your initial ideas might be, we begin by thoroughly understanding how you (or your prospective buyers) will live in the home. Well-acquainted with your tastes and preferences, we then refine the brief and recommend new, design potentials. We also problem-solve potential construction and architectural challenges with 3D modelling to convey our ideas.
Our interior design journey is wholistic and collaborative. We can work with your architects and builders at every stage in the build or can offer concepts only for the architect and builders to integrate and execute. In whatever way you work with us, you’re included and kept well-informed, at each stage – from concept to completion.
Our service range includes: Entire Home Interior Design Package, Joinery Design only (including custom kitchens and high end cabinetry) and Joinery Packages (includes supply of cabinetry).

Concept Design
In the initial concept phase, we work collaboratively with you to create a detailed design brief. We start by understanding how you live and move around your home, and what items you need storage for. For quality build results, we recommend planning your interiors, including custom joinery at the start, not after your house plans are finalised.

Design Documentation
Once we have a finalised a design concept, Interior Blank begins preparing your design package, which could include custom made cabinetry, 3D renders, finishes and fixture specifications for the entire home. These are integrated with the architectural building plans to ensure that all aspects of the design are accurate and streamlined for the build process.

Implementation
Throughout each stage of the build, Interior Blank works collaboratively with the architect, builders and trades to ensure the design intent is carried forth using the detailed documentation created to communicate the design. This supports a better and streamlined build process with minimal costly and time-intensive mid-project variations.
Entire Home Interior Design.
For an outstanding new home or residential development with high quality interiors, Interior Blank is the studio of choice. Full home interior design services can include custom made cabinetry, custom kitchens, designer bathrooms, wardrobes and outdoor kitchens. In-person interior design services are offered in Byron Bay, Gold Coast and Brisbane. Additionally, many projects have been successfully executed virtually.

The starting point of any interior design journey is the clients’ goals, personal tastes and preferences. We then collaborate, ideate and refine from this point. Rather than creating a design that neatly fits a design genre, such as mid-century modern or traditional, our approach is to acknowledge and enhance the inherent creativity, eclecticism and personality of the homeowner or developer.
Then, together we create a residence that is a meaningful reflection of taste and style.
